ABSTRACT
The introductory part of this work gives a brief description of the recent earthquakes that have occurred in recent years in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The following is more detailed information about the consequences of an earthquake: the scale of destruction, the procedure for dealing with the consequences of an earthquake, methods of strengthening buildings.

The territory of the south and south-east of Kazakhstan is one of the most seismic of the Central Asian seismically active east of the Kazakhst.
